Nebraska producers are exposed to new production research and strategies through the annual Nebraska Sheep & Goat Conference (read a recap of the 2009 event, or look ahead to the 2010 event), as well as the quarterly Nebraska Sheep & Goat newsletter featuring interviews with experienced and innovative producers.
In addition, starting with the Winter 2009-2010 newsletter issue, a ”Production Notes” section will bring additional production articles to Nebraska Sheep and Goat Producers members and associates. Topics to be covered in this first edition of this special section include:
- Planning for Your Markets
- Raising Lambs and Kids Artificially
- Environmentally Friendly Coyote Control
- Managing for Wool Quality
- Scrapie Research in Goats
