Board of Directors

Three members from each of three districts are elected to serve on the Board of Directors for a three-year term. Officers are elected for one-year terms. The 2009-2010 Board of Directors include:

Eastern – approx. Hwy. 81 east

  • Deb Dauel (Malmo, NE) – meat goat producer
  • Charles Reppert (Pender, NE) – sheep producer  **Treasurer** & **American Sheep Industry Rep**
  • Al Weeder (Columbus, NE) – sheep producer

Central — approx. Hwy. 81 west to the edge of the Panhandle

  • Butch Hassler (Sutton, NE) – dairy goat producer
  • Kent Sayer (North Platte, NE) – sheep producer
  • Mike Wallace (Nelson, NE) – sheep and meat goat producer  **President**

Western — the Panhandle

  • Julie Becker (Mitchell, NE) – cashmere goat producer  **Secretary**
  • Clinton Riesen (Minatare, NE) – sheep and goat producer  **Vice President**
  • Hazen Stone (Harrisburg, NE) – sheep and meat goat producer
